An introduction to English Garden Design

If you love English gardens, with their relaxed feel and easy-going approach, then this is for you. Over the course of a weekend, you will be introduced to some of the beautiful gardens of the British Arts and Crafts movement - the style of planting and the elements that go into making these kinds of informal, flower-filled, romantic gardens.
Using this as a starting point, we will take a closer look at the type of plants often used, the way they are planted and how to choose plants to create beauty and interest in the garden all year round.
The philosophy behind this style of planting can be applied to any garden, however large or small, so whether you have a manor house or a balcony size garden, we will look at how you can incorporate the design principles of English cottage gardens into your own garden.
You'll need to bring:
Roll of 'madpakke' paper.
Something to write/draw with - could be pen/pencil/crayon etc.
Scissors and masking tape.
Printed photos of your garden/growing space.
Suitable for all.
Bemærk undervisningen foregår på engelsk!
